EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) AT JUSTPLAY

EVERYONE IS WELCOME

At JUSTPLAY we pride ourselves on supporting everyone, we want to support our whole community.

Unfortunately, in our society those from minority ethnic backgrounds and LGBTQIA+ are treated unfairly and discriminated against.

JUSTPLAY felt it was of importance to uplift those in the community who struggle and are disadvantaged by prejudice and racism.

We decided to create merchandise to support  LGBTQIA+ and most recently #BlackLivesMatter, with a share of the profits going to our selected charity to support those in need.

JUSTPLAY + MENTAL HEALTH

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS TO US

JUSTPLAY are extremely passionate about highlighting and supporting mental health.

We are aware of the benefits exercise and socialization have for good mental health and know that our sessions do make a difference to those who struggle in the community.

We regularly share information and contact details of agencies and charities into the community to spread awareness if people need additional support. We have also created hand-held cards with motivational words and also post uplifting quotes on our social media known as #MentalHealthMonday.

At the beginning of COVID-19 lock down we started  the 'Bounce Back' campaign and  we asked members of our community to discuss and share what helped bring them happiness and 'normality' with so much uncertainty at the beginning of the pandemic.
