What do we do?
JUSTPLAY UK was founded January 2018 in the West Midlands. We chose a venue and invited participants aged 16+ to “Just...Play” and we haven't stopped since!
As the community has grown we have focused more on creating an inclusive space for empowering women and girls.
- Our focus is on making casual basketball more accessible within the community.
- Our aim is to be more than a sports organisation; we want to use basketball to improve and aid the mental, social and emotional well-being of our community.
- Our belief is that basketball can encourage community cohesion and connect people from all walks of life through common interest.
OUR MOTTO
"COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION" is and always will be what our organisation strives for. We founded the organisation to enable anyone to be involved without the pressure of commitment, affordability or skill level.
